Hellbender Puppet Theatre

Tara Morton is a co-founder and continued collaborator of Hellbender Puppet Theatre, a St. Louis-based collective rooted in play and politics. Hellbender utilizes large-scale parade-style puppet theatre practices, performing in public spaces and taking inspiration from the Cheap Art Movement. They utilize their puppetry performances to highlight St. Louis history and social issues at large.
