Tara Morton is an artist + educator living in St. Louis, Missouri. She works full-time as Programs Manager at a non-profit community workshop called Perennial, where she teaches folks how to make things from discarded materials. She considers herself to be a Jane-of-all-trades, and is skilled in woodworking, sewing, textile dyeing, macrame, casting, embroidery, weaving, soldering and more. Tara graduated magna cum laude from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2011, and received her Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2013. She has also recently has received certification as a Missouri Master Naturalist.
